Hello, and welcome back to the blog!
Today I am going to share a little about a dream come true!
For as long as I remember, I always wanted a photoshoot in my wedding dress with my horse. Actually, I envisioned myself riding down the aisle but when it came to the reality of planning our wedding and taking into account Bo’s nature, I realised it was perhaps not the best idea. I knew I wanted Bo to be a part of it somehow and so we decided to get a photoshoot with him.
So, on Saturday 5th March, I got up at 6AM and went off to the yard to get Bo ready to go for our photoshoot. It was quite the process and I was lucky to have my bridesmaids, maid of honour and my mum all help out- getting a horse on a trailer in a white dress at a mucky yard is never a good idea on your own!
We decided to do the photoshoot at a place called Kinneal which is actually where my parents got their wedding photos. I also spent a lot of time here growing up as we used to walk here with my gran and grandad and our old dogs. It has a lot of positive memories so it seemed like the perfect place.
Bo was impeccably behaved. I was thinking to myself ‘how many horses could you actually just pack up, pop in a trailer on their own, go somewhere new in a scary white dress with a big camera and all the other equipment associated with such ease?’.
Bo really is one of a kind. I think he viewed the whole trip like humans would view taking a trip to go out for dinner; he was in it for the grass! He had a great day.
We had so many special moments and I loved every minute. I feel very blessed and thankful to have such a wonderful husband, incredible horse and amazing friends/ family.
Anyway, below is a gallery of some beautiful moments from the day!

Happy Horsing!

Beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing them with us.
