BBequines is back with a new look!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted to my blog purely because of a lack of motivation, I felt I had nothing to say and work was particularly busy. I did even consider deleting my blog for a while when I thought to myself “what’s the point?” -but I have come to my senses.

I have a bad habit of doing things to reach a goal and I felt I didn’t have anything to work towards so I began to take on this “what’s the point?” attitude. As I’ve thought about it over the last couple of months, I remembered that I love writing, I love horses and I love writing about horses. So, even if only one person reads this today, I have enjoyed the process regardless.

I decided to create a new look for the blog and update the domain since choosing to keep it running. I did contemplate changing the name but I chose BBequines for a reason- BB stands for Beth and Bo and to me that represents my life with my little horse, which is the very original point of this lifestyle blog. I also decided to revamp the style to create a sleek, calm and simple look as that’s how I try to keep things in my life- simple.

I’ve thought about the purpose of this blog too which has helped to give me clarity on what I write about. I’ve come up with 2 main purposes:
1. It is a lifestyle blog so it captures the real-life day to day with my horse.
2. It informs on areas of interest to me within the equine world.
As I’ve become more experienced, I have learnt a lot and I feel, as a teacher, it is only fitting that I share my learning with others.

I’d like to get back to posting more regularly with the hope of posting on a weekly basis. You can also head over to Instagram at @bbequines. I’m excited to get creative again and just enjoy the process. I hope you’ll join me.

Happy Horsing!
